DIY Frosted Glass Polka Dot Phone Case
When I got the gold iPhone, I knew that I wanted a case that could show off its fancy metallic color. I love gold accents, in both décor and accessories, so getting the gold iPhone was an obvious choice. But now that I have the perfect case, I’m even more in love with it.
I started off with a clear case that had green bumper, but after I went to Holi (with my phone in a Ziplock, no less), the bumper got a bit grimy. Not so pretty. I had trouble finding a clear case that I liked that also wasn’t too boring — or crazy expensive. So I decided to DIY my own.
Frosted glass spray is so easy to use on both glass and plastic, so I’ll definitely get some more use out of the can I bought. This DIY is completed in about 30 minutes so give it a go yourself!
-a clear phone case
-rubbing alcohol + a cotton ball
-frosted glass spray
-single hold puncher
Clean the phone case with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Make sure it dries completely. Punch polka dots out of painters tape and apply to case, making sure they are competely flat. I placed them in shifting rows of three.
Spray (outside) with frosted glass spray. I did about 3 coats, waiting a few seconds in between each one. Dry for 15 minutes.Peel off the polka dots and there you have it! A new phone case. Feel free to try out different designs too.
